Sri Pada First Aid Camp – Nallanthanniya

From 30th January to 02nd February 2026, the Sri Lanka Saukyadana Movement conducted a dedicated First Aid Camp at Nallanthanniya to support pilgrims and visitors climbing Sri Pada during the peak season.

With large numbers of devotees traveling to the sacred mountain, our volunteer medical teams were stationed on-site to provide immediate assistance to those in need. During the camp, we treated several patients who had been stung by hornets along the trail, offering prompt first aid care and monitoring to ensure their safety and comfort.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to safeguarding communities and supporting public health during major religious and cultural gatherings. We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated volunteers who served tirelessly throughout the four-day camp.
